Munshi is an AI-powered communications tool built for political, advocacy, and public affairs professionals, operated by Munshi Technologies LLC, a Delaware limited liability company (“Munshi,” “we,” “us”). By creating an account, checking the acceptance box at login or during checkout, or using Munshi, you agree to these terms.
Munshi analyzes drafts you submit and provides suggestions to improve clarity, persuasiveness, and audience resonance, along with research tools for audiences, decision-makers, and media. It uses Anthropic's Claude API to process your content.
Munshi provides communications guidance only. Nothing in its output constitutes legal, political, financial, or strategic advice. You are responsible for reviewing all content, including citations, statistics, and factual claims, before publication or distribution, and for complying with laws applicable to your work, including campaign finance, election, and lobbying disclosure laws.
Munshi offers Individual plans (purchased self-serve) and Team and Enterprise plans (purchased by an organization). Features and limits, including monthly credit allotments, the number of audience or decision-maker profiles you can create, and whether research history can be shared, vary by plan as described at usemunshi.com or in your organization's Order Form. Credits reset monthly and do not roll over unless your plan says otherwise.
Organization workspaces. If you use Munshi through a Team or Enterprise workspace, your organization controls that workspace. Depending on plan and settings, your drafts, research history, and usage activity may be visible to workspace administrators and shared with teammates, and your organization can manage, suspend, or remove your access. If your organization has a signed agreement with Munshi (such as a Master Subscription Agreement and Order Form), that agreement governs the relationship between Munshi and your organization, including payment, data handling, and termination, and controls over these terms if they conflict. These terms still govern your individual conduct on the platform, including the Acceptable Use rules below.
You must be at least 18 years old and use accurate information when creating an account. Logins are individual: keep your credentials secure, don't share your account, and notify us promptly at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized use. You are responsible for activity under your account.
This section applies if you purchase an Individual plan directly. If you access Munshi through an organization's Team or Enterprise plan, billing is handled under your organization's agreement and this section does not apply to you.
Individual subscriptions are billed monthly in advance via our payment processor (Stripe) at the price shown at checkout, plus applicable taxes. Your subscription renews automatically each month until you cancel. You can cancel anytime from your account billing settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep access until then.
Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable, including for partial months or unused credits.
We may change Individual plan pricing with at least 30 days' notice; changes take effect at your next renewal after the notice period. If you don't agree, cancel before the change takes effect.
Munshi is intended for lawful professional communications work. You agree to use it only in a manner consistent with honest public discourse and applicable law. You may not use Munshi to:
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.
You own what you submit. Drafts, research queries, and other material you submit remain yours. You grant us only the limited rights needed to operate the service: to process, store, and display your content to you (and, in organization workspaces, to teammates per your plan's sharing settings).
You can use what Munshi produces. Subject to these terms and payment of applicable fees, you may use, modify, and publish output generated for you on the platform for any lawful business purpose.
You are responsible for what you publish. Munshi is a software vendor, not a lobbying firm, political committee, or agent of any user. You are solely responsible for content you publish or distribute, including its accuracy and legal compliance.
The Munshi platform, including its software, prompts, citation banks, format directives, analysis models, and interface, belongs to Munshi Technologies LLC. These terms give you a right to use the service, not a license to its underlying technology.
MUNSHI IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” AI-GENERATED SUGGESTIONS MAY CONTAIN ERRORS, OMISSIONS, HALLUCINATED CITATIONS, OR OUTDATED INFORMATION. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. ALWAYS REVIEW OUTPUT BEFORE USE.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MUNSHI TECHNOLOGIES LLC'S TOTAL LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE FEES YOU PAID TO MUNSHI IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM (OR $100 IF YOU HAVE PAID NO FEES). WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, CONSEQUENTIAL, INCIDENTAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST PROFITS OR REPUTATIONAL HARM, OR FOR DECISIONS MADE BASED ON MUNSHI'S OUTPUT.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
You can stop using Munshi and cancel your subscription at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms, fail to pay, or use the service in a way that creates risk or legal exposure for Munshi or others. Sections 6–10 and 12 survive termination.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Before filing any claim, you agree to contact us at [email protected] and attempt in good faith to resolve the dispute informally for 30 days. Disputes that cannot be resolved informally will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Delaware.
These terms may be updated as Munshi evolves. You will be asked to review and accept any material changes at your next login; continued use after acceptance constitutes agreement. The “Last updated” date above reflects the current version.
